Afternoon tour to unfinished Obelisk which still remains in situ attached to the rock on one side. Situated in the northern part of the quarries, this gigantic single piece of granite was intended to be an obelisk and is generally attributed to Queen Hatshepsut, being very similar to her obelisk in Karnak Temple in Luxor, by motor boat of felucca we will take you in a nile journy eor 1 Hour, transfer to your hotel, overnight.

| Transfer To the south of tAswan city to take a motor boat to visit the temple of the Philae, which marks the south end of the city. The temple started at the onset of the reign of the Ptolemy II and continued till the end of the Roman emperors ruled. The temple at Philae was nearly lost under water when the high Aswan dam was built in the 1960s. The temple was rescued by a joint collaboration between the Egyptian government and UNESCO. The temple is made in the name of Goddess Isis and is set in sculptured landscapes, which incorporates the Vestibule of the Nectanebos, entrance to the temple. Visit the Sound and Light Show, an enchanting experience as floodlit buildings are silhouetted against the volcanic rocks and water surrounding them recreates history. P.M. back to Cairo. |
