About ninety per cent of the country is desert: the Western Desert, a continuation of the Sahara Desert and the Eastern Desert. The deserts are separated by the Nile which flows from the Sudan and through the length of Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea. The remainder of the country consists of the Nile Valley Delta and Sinai.

The Nile, one of the world's great rivers, is really the creator of Egypt through the annual deposits of rich sediments spread across the valley by its regular floods.

The flora and fauna vary with the landscape. Among the trees which grow where water is available are acacia, date palm, weeping willow, eucalyptus, sycamore and tamarisk.

Egypt's flowering plants include irises, lilies, the lotus, jasmine and roses. Many different types of grasses and reeds grow along the Nile, the most famous of them is the papyrus reed.

The domesticated animals include buffalo, camels and donkeys. In the desert areas, among the wild animals are desert foxes, gerboas, gazelles and jackals.

Many species of birds are to be found along the Nile: herons, kingfishers, flamingoes and pelicans. Storks, plovers, hoopoes, hawks, vultures and eagles are also present.

There are about two hundred species of fish in the Nile. The Red Sea is particularly rich in coral and tropical marine fish.

5 Days Baharya&Farafra Oasis

Day 1: Arrive Baharya Oasis

Arrive at the Baharya Oasis bus station. Meet and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free day to explore. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Baharya Oasis

A full-day excursion with visits to the Hot and Cold Springs, the English House, Pyramid Mountain, the Oasis Museum, Bir El-Ghaba, and Bir El-Matar. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: White Desert

We start our desert safari to the White Desert with visits to the great Sand Dunes, Swiss Tomb, Black Mountain, and the Bedouin village. Next we drive to Crystal Mountain and El-Akabat. Once we reach the White Desert, enjoy dinner in this Bedouin atmosphere. Overnight we camp in the White Desert beneath the stars.

Day 4: Farafra Oasis

A short drive to the Farafra Oasis to discover, learn about, and share in the fascinating
lives of the Bedouin people. Overnight in the desert camp.

Day 5: Depart the Western Oases

Day 1 Arrival to Cairo airport, our representative will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & portage will greet you From the airport you will be transferred by a private A/C car to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 2

Breakfast. Start your full day visiting the Egyptian museum of antiquities. Collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000

genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to

the Tut-Ankh-Amon collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, as it

was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was

discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated. Visit the great

Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal

ever built. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx - a huge funeral

complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king

Chephren. Then visit Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Overnight in Cairo

Day 3 :

After breakfast, proceeds to Bahariya oasis a 370-km from Cairo.
Upon reaching Bahariya, we check in our Campsite, tour the city, and
have lunch. Later we visit the temple of Alexander the great, tombs
of the nobles and the English mountain. We join a camel caravan for
one hour, later have dinner in the campsite, overnight.

Day 4:

After breakfast we go to the black desert and the dune area. On
route to Farafra we visit the crystal mountain, the area of the
wonders with the desert roses and the arch. Moving on we head to the
White Desert, we start exploring the formations and wind carved
sculptors that resemble both human and animal faces. The night is
spent in the desert, dinner and overnight camping.

Day 5 :

Breakfast. Reaching Farafra oasis, we visit the city, bathe in the
hot spring, visit the museum of Badr “the local artist”, then move
on to Dakhla oasis 280-km. Upon reaching Dakhla, we visit the Old
Covered City with its oil press, school, Courthouse and dwelling
chambers, Muzzawaka & Deir el Haggar, have lunch, dinner and
overnight in the hotel.

Day 6 :

Breakfast. Leaving Dakhla oasis, ahead to Kharga 190-km, we head off
road towards the Labakha roman area, and explore the dwellings area,
the Temple, and the Spring. Lunch picnic, upon arrival to Kharga
Oasis In Kharga, we visit El Bagawat Cemetery, visit of temple of
Hibis, temple of el El Deir and the museum, and have lunch,
overnight in Kharga.

Day 7 :

Breakfast. Proceed Luxor, arrive Luxor, check into hotel , Overnight
in Luxor.

Day 8 :

After breakfast, tour to visit The Temple of Karnak & the Temple of
Luxor. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 9 :

Breakfast. Visit The West Bank – the Valley of the Kings, Valley of
The Queens and The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari.
In the evening overnight Sitting train to Cairo

Day 10 :

Arrive Cairo, meet and assist by our representative transfer to the
hotel, overnight in hotel. (Optional Sound and Light) laser show at
Pyramids

Day 11 :

Breakfast at the hotel our representative will transfer you to the
airport and assist you at the airport through final departure
formalities.
